  Aids Walk

Founded in 1985, the AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC) is a local and national leader in the fight against HIV/AIDS.  AFC collaborates with community organizations like Global Alliance for Africa, to develop and improve HIV/AIDS services; funds and coordinates prevention, care, and advocacy projects; and champions effective, compassionate HIV/AIDS policy.

As a member of AFC’s Service Providers Council, Global Alliance for Africa will receive funding from the AIDS Foundation for their participation in the 2008 AIDS Run & Walk through pledges made by Global Alliance Team Members.

Please watch for coming information about the September 2008 AIDS Run & Walk and how you can become a participating member of the Global Alliance Team.

You can log onto www.aidsrunwalk.org for details on the 2007 AIDS Run & Walk.
